Fall 2019

In this issue read all about the improvements to the museum and grounds that have taken place recently. Our "Georgetown Remembered" section provides you with some fascinating Georgetown "Tidd-bits" and other information.

Summer 2019

Did you know there were a number of lake and sea serpent sightings in our area in the 1800s, including right here in Georgetown? Our summer newsletter feature article is about these strange sightings, as reported in our local newspapers.  Our "Georgetown Remembered" article recalls the long-gone ice cream stands and little stores that were once a part of our town.

Spring 2019

Our featured article is about the Daniel Moulton house, last known as Sedler's Antique Village, which is scheduled to be partially demolished to make way for condos. Also included: "Georgetown Remembered,"  new digitized records at the library, updates from GHS President Betsy Moran, and more!
